Alternatively, publish the Feed URL using GPO, and the published apps will announced in the user'south start carte du jour as "locally" installed applications.

User Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Remote Desktop Services > RemoteApp and Desktop Connections
Specify default connection URL: Enabled
Default connection URL: https://server.domain.local/RDWeb/Feed/webfeed.aspx

While true, that'due south only useful if the machines in question are on your domain and can take GPOs practical.  Personally, I have several non domain machines that use a RemoteApp, and so I demand the RDP file itself.

Stay tuned :)

Thank you for the solution.

I take one more upshot while accessing the Awarding from my calculator using the RDWeb(URL) externally.

I am able to login to the URL page and when I click on the RDP icon, it gets downloaded and It prompts for the credential, Nonetheless, I utilise the same user credential which I used to log in to the folio. I am non able to log in instead it shows "log-on attempt failed" . I have tried all possible solutions. Whatsoever suggestions for this issue would be actually helpful!

Thank you.

Thank you lot.

Are you logging in from a domain or workgroup PC? Are you lot using the total UPN for the username or remembering to include the NetBios part of the username? Entering simply the username on a workgroup computer will human activity as if your using workgroup credentials, and the domain controller will reject it. (Username@domain.local or donain\username)

No, I am logging in using the domain (domain\username). But however, information technology shows the log-on error. when I looked at the possible solution, I got to know it is because of HTTP redirection in IIS, though I didn't understand the logic, I tried it, merely it didn't work for me!
