Your computer must be connected to the internet. If you're reinstalling on a Mac notebook computer, plug in the power adapter.

Choose Apple tree bill of fare

In the Recovery app window, select Deejay Utility, then click Continue.

In Deejay Utility, select the book you lot want to erase in the sidebar, then click Erase in the toolbar.

Type a proper name for the volume in the Name field, click the Format pop-upwards menu and cull APFS, then click Erase Volume Grouping.

When the erase process is complete, click Done, then cull Disk Utility > Quit Deejay Utility.

In the Recovery app window, select Reinstall for your macOS release, click Go along, then follow the onscreen instructions.
